Today there is a two fold prayer within me*(author unknown to me Debi Newman). A prayer for America, and prayer for our President Trump. They are somehow linked and today both need divine protection and grace to fulfill their purpose.

Father, we just want to pray blessing and honor on the house of Trump. We pray especially for President Trump and First Lady Melania, that the protective shield surrounding them would be strong and impenetrable.
Visit them, Lord, and may they experience You in ever increasing measure. Speak to them. Be their Counselor. Give them Your life and Your vitality to do the work You have purposed for them to do.

Likewise, we lift up our nation to You. We cry out for mercy and grace. Though the enemy has come in like a flood, we ask that in ever increasing measure, Your standard would be raised up as a protective shield, protecting the plans and purposes You have for this nation. Rise up in Your people, that an impenetrable prayer shield is continually activated across the nation.

Father, we pray that President Donald John Trump will fulfill every plan and every purpose that You have ordained for him to fulfill. Lord, let NOTHING detour him from the path You have prepared for him to walk, and may every word and decree from His office that You want spoken, be spoken and established. We trust You, O God, and look to You alone to accomplish a mighty work in America.

May America’s divine path be fully established. May each and every weapon that has been formed to destroy her destiny or obscure it from sight experience complete failure, becoming utterly powerless against Your ways and plans.

Lord, we pray that the President would not be discouraged. It truly feels as if all hell has been released against this man, so we pray for his heart, his stamina, his health. We ask that angels would encompass him and his family. Let no weapon that has been formed against him succeed in doing him harm in any way.

Lord, we pray that America will not lose heart. May Your praying remnant hold strong to the vision You have put in their hearts. May Your Church not faint in this hour, but be strong and be the spiritual midwife to deliver America into reformation.

We receive now, all that has been asked, with grateful and expectant hearts, in the name of Jesus.
